stationery favorites

Those that know me well know that I have a serious obsession with stationery. If I come across a new notebook that speaks to me, I purchase it even though I have about 10 unused ones at home. I have way too many writing utensils, but they bring me so much joy that I can’t let them go. Here are some of my favorites and recent pick me ups.

Kamon Letterpress Notebook (Dot Grid A5)

KamonNotebook
  • Purchased from Greer Chicago. Owner Chandra has a serious eye for finding unique and beautiful products from around the globe. Her store is definitely one of a kind in Chicago and one of my favorite stores. Follow the store on Instagram for new items that are added to the inventory.
  • I purchased the notebook in colors Brick and Mint. I love the cover design and that it’s dotted. I’m a huge fan of dotted notebooks these days over lined. I love that it’s a thin notebook because it’s perfect for journalling.

Grids & Guides (Navy): A Notebook for Visual Thinkers

  • Purchased on Amazon.
  • This is the notebook I am currently working through. I’m about 75% finished with it. Every page is different – dotted, grid, geometric shapes, unit circle, etc. It’s really unique, but not everyone will like this. My coworker didn’t like it because it has a ton of really random charts & infographics. I’m a data nerd so I get excited when the unit circle pops up or the entire infographic on cell structures. I wouldn’t use this for bullet journalling though.
  • Another Grids & Guides product I love is the 3-Notepad Set. I purchased mine from Greer Chicago, but it’s no longer in stock there. This is why I try to snatch up an item I really like when I see it.

  • Purchased at Greer Chicago.
  • I know it sounds ridiculous to spend $7.50 on a pen, but I’m obsessed. There are 18 colors and after doing some research Greer Chicago is one of the only spots in the US that has all colors in stock. I purchased the olive green pen and I’m tempted to order a couple more. It’s a really beautiful pen and you can just purchase $4 refills instead of throwing it out after the ink runs out.

Zebra Mildliner Double Ended Highlighter

  • Purchased on Amazon, but I am linking the JetPens site instead.
  • Listen, these are amazing. I go back and forth between my mildliners & Stabilo highlighters. I love that they are double sided and the colors are vibrant yet muted. They don’t bleed through the page which is an issue with a lot of highlighters.

  • This is one of the most unique pick me ups so I definitely had to share. Every block set of paper is a different size and format. It’s really cool to be able to use each section differently depending on the purpose. This is a perfect gift for anyone who appreciates pen to paper.
